Acceptance

Let us explore this.

'...some form of non-acceptance, some form of unconscious resistance to what is...', where does this non-acceptance / resistance come from?

Isn't also from the same source (what is)? If yes, why not accept the 'non-acceptance' / 'resistance'?

So, there is nothing right or wrong with non-acceptance / resistance. It is part of 'what is' and accepting it or not-accepting it also part of 'what is'.

If there is some effort / view / opinion to split 'what is' as acceptable and not-acceptable things (concepts / happening...), then that is also part of 'what is'.

We cannot get away from 'what is' to look at it, accept it, not-accept it....all that is 'what is'.

But, we understand (get it) what Eckhart Tolle is trying to tell with those words. The message is not in the words but not apart from the words, because that also is 'what is', as these words are!

The above is not to be viewed as 'I understand better than him / her' kind of egoist (sense of separation) perspective.

Such egoistic thoughts are part of 'what is' but learning to ignore (need not hate or resist or curse or even feel bad...) them also part of 'what is'.

You see, slowly the acceptance (of what is) is growing but there is no effort to accept, that is acting without an actor!

"Once you’ve gotten the meaning, you can forget the words." (Chuang-tzu)

"There is no path to peace. Peace is the path" (Mahatma Gandhi)
